Do you know how to mod your PHPBB? Have you looked for any pruning mods?

probably just need to tweak the code a little, are you looking to invest a few bucks for this?

You'll have to alter the SQL code (obviously), so it sets the locked boolean instead of deletes it. However, this will grow large over time and you'll have to come up with a system for removing the old posts. MySQL is nothing if not a pile of shit.

always looking to make a buck, eh?

the forum is not large, so locking can be done manually. but of course, why use my hands when a mod might be availible. i am checking mods now...

Yeah just hack up the script, and be careful with PHPBB as if you don't keep up-to-date you're running the risk of a visit from the Romanian hackers
