Help needed - Trade Script

Ok i got this thing working, now ....


I notice on other sites, the trades they send out go directly to the main page of tgp and skip the enter page with the warning ....


is this critical in productivity do you think?


i have an od situation here ....

my tgp script builds all pages when i approve a submit, including the index.html ....


but i need to make a index.shtml for the trade script to work so it can set the cookie and shit i guess.

I can prolly figure out how to make my tgp script build .shtml pages, but i would basically have to rewrite the entire script, and im no good in php.


ideas? maybe a single .shtml page that says "Enter" that i can send all trade hits to?

or would this mess up productivity

ya dont need to build a shtml page mate go into youa .htacess or your httpd.conf file and change the parms from shtml to html and htm then you can call ssi via html

where is htaccess?

and BTW even if i do that ....

CJU tells me to put this line into the head of the file ...

-Add this line in the header part of the main page html code :

now if i put that in the _header.php of my tgp script, its going to add it to ALL the pages it builds ... wont this set a new cookie each time he swtiches pages?

gonna fuck up productivity stats i think.

I used that once,heard alot of complaints ,plus the skim of 2%.Invest in a good script,Traffic Manager3 has 4 easy payments of 100 bucks,Great support .Tryex and GW are great guys

ok this is what i did tell me if its bad idea ...


i made index.shtml and did the php includes, then added an instant redirect to my galleries.


this way the surfur gets tagged, and he still gets galleries right in his face ..

try including this on your main page.

make your script create an shtml page for you main page where your traffic will come to make the rest of the pages html.
put the include tag in your header file. The server will parse the shtml file and not the html files so the only cookies that gets set is when the traffic first comes to the site.

Oh and if that doesnt work make a index.shtml page put the include tag for cjultra in it then put a include tag for index.html have your return traffic sent to index.shtml.

your rightm thats the optimal way to do it.

only thing, i dont know any php and i dont know how to rewrite it to make the main page a .shtml and the others a .html

the way i have it setup now ....

the cookie is set


and the page redirects to my main gallery page.

seems ok idea i think.
