mac's are best for video editing

the quality is great!

We looked at them but after checking all the benchmarks at Tomshardware and Anandtech went with an X6800 XP box which is actually faster (and 50% as much) due to the memory bandwidth issues on the mac pro.

But if you must run OS X it's the only way to go.
