    Content Licensing Question

K i'm shooting my own content now. I have some questions about the legality of the issue. I know i'm supposed to check the IDs of the girls for legal age duh!

About the model Model Release Form, is that the proof that i own the content? if so, how can i license it to two people (partners), or can it be licensed to a domain name?

Beside Model Release Forms, what other forms/docs are needed?

One thing is to xerox TWO forms of her ID for your records! Some guys even shoot their picture holding their ID's as well as a newspaper with the date showing.

I thought shooting content would be easy. Just photocopy their ID, have them sign the release form, and sell the content. Wrong.

You will want to make sure you cover your ass completely. The guy at http://www.xxx-law.com was at the AWE (LA) show, and educated us about shooting our own content.

You'll want to know this law in and out, Title 18 USC 2257.
Here's an article on it. http://www.adultbuzz.com/erik/010901.html

You should definately do a lot of research before you sell your content. The whole backbone to this industry is hinged on content. So, it's better to be safe than sorry. Do your research.

        Thanks guys....

One more question, if a hired photographer does the shoot, what document gives me the exclusive rights for sharing and reselling the content and removes all rights from the photographer?
Is there some kind of photographer release form =) ?

Also can someone please show me an example of a model release form for video? thx
