Well its finally in the works... The first 'real' Aussie webmaster conference !!

Im sure I'm not the only one who gets a little jelous when reading about all the Webmaster events and meetings that happen over in the U.s. So I have decided to try and get things moving down under, lets see if we can make a noise that the U.s Guys and Gal's will hear

The venue and schedule to be announced as I will need to have an estimation of numbers before I can get into the finer details..

Hiya All,
Thank you all for the emails you have sent me. Sorry about the delay in replying..

There has been a HUGE amount of interest shown since I posted the message on the boards.. It looks like this is going to be way bigger than I had hoped.

I have a list of over 40 Aussies already !!!

As for the finer details like venue, schedule and events.. I was hoping to leave it for a few more days till I get a better estimate of numbers...

Now... I am as we speak, looking into getting some sponsors and guest speakers involved. I am sure that they will jump at the chance to attend the first 'REAL' Aussie Event..

I myself, do not know any Aussie Sponsors. So if anyone wants to reccomend anyone shoot me an email with the details..

Also I would love to get a few emails from those interested stating what you want out of this...

I will keep you all posted...

Some of the big names in porn are based up in Brisbane. Companies like intergal.com, filthycash.com etc. Not sure if it would be a good idea to invite them to speak since they're affectionately known as the "Australian Porn Mafia". Might be OK as long as they keep the violin cases at home

Ok Folks, Looks like Bake beat me to it...

Due to popular demand the event will be held in Sunny Surfers Paradise On Sat November 17th. !!

I have a tentative confirmation that Smutserver, Sexpass and Hardcore Australia will be there. I am awaiting replies from Intergal, Purve, Adultshop and a few others...

The venue is being worked on as we speak. I should have a webpage up for it by Wednesday next week. Where you can add yourselves to the 'Who's Attending 'List' and see the schedule ....

Hey XTC - Just a thought - the Honda Indy 300 will be on in Surfer's Paradise on Oct 25-28th (www.indy.com.au). It may be an idea to put on the conference around the same time so people travelling here can kill two birds...I guess accommodation could be a bitch but Indy week is un-bloody-believable (don't forget the Indy Undie Ball
