    Godaddy Question

In order to change the registrant (push a domain to someone else's goaddy account) must I first cancel domain privacy (provided by the third-party, domainsbyproxy)?

Yes, you first have to log into your DBP account and cancel the privacy. In less than an hour, your name will be visible on WHOIS, so I recommend changing your contact info to some fake info (again, in the DBP interface) until the account tranfers. I just did this in transferring my domains to Namecheap...

This is one more reason to leave Go Daddy (besides high prices). They tie the Domains by Proxy subscription to your domain. Good luck, AR+

This is annoying because I dont have my login info for DBP and the email address I think they have on file is no longer available to me. In order to sell my domain, and therefore take off the privacy, it looks like Im going to have to fax DBP government ID etc along with the new email addy! FUCK
