    Internet Backbone Problems?

I watch "Internet health" on a daily basis and I tend to know when major backbone providers go down. Seems to me Level3 and Savvis is having issues today. Also seems to me that there have been a lot of "issues" with these backbone providers in the past week, which is odd.

    Anyone know what's going on?

Probably a combo all the fricking zillions of videos on YouTube, a hundred million teens uploading and downloading crap on their myspace sites, 500 million people downloading IE7, a hundred million downloading Firefox 2.0, and a gazillion porn pics and movies.

Because I work on the Internet and it's important to know these things?

GFY for example is hosted at Jupiter which uses mostly Level3 as a backbone. When Level3 has issues we get complaints.
