Set your email filter to move any mails with the "body" containing the word "attachment" to your trash..
This will auto send any mails with attachments to your trash..you still have to wait out the downloading , but at least all you have to do till this is over is delete your trash.

or you can set to delete all emails over 100k in size. you can do this with outlook. no need to wait for downloading large emails.

however, it would be nice to figure out how to delete these large emails and send a response (for associates who accidentally sent an email over 100k without realizing that you're ignoring it).
