Check-out Pinnacle Version 8 Just saw in today's paper that Best Buy is having an incredible sale on it. Normally sells for 99.00 but they have 80.00 worth of rebates (in-store and mail-in) so it's actually only 19.99 I just bought it for 99.00 like 5 weeks ago.

I like Adobe Premiere for editing and use Cleaner to encode clips.

Adobe Premiere is the industry standard I thought?

What do commercial television studios and so forth use?

Studio 8.0 doesn't work. Check out their discussion boards at repeated attempts at new betas, its a piece of shit. 7.0 is pretty good though if you patch it.
