Exporting CMS database

    Exporting CMS database

    Can someone gimme an idea how to get a current table structure and database exported that someone else can download it , upload to their server .. config the connect file for mysql and be done with it ?

    I gotta get this database out NOW , so any help would be appreciated.

          You can do this with phpMyAdmin. Just select the database you want to export in the left frame and then click on "export" in the right frame.
          Then you can choose that you want to export the structure and the data from the database and export it as text oder compressed file.

              Thanks , That's what I figuired .. but with my Mysql knowledge I wanted someone to say it .. I'm afraid to press buttons in there not knowing EXACTLY what they do

                Yes it's very dangerous. With a click or command you can delete the whole database... Hope everything will work fine with exporting/importing...
