I like to drink with the guys from Candid. We had a good laugh about the boards down in Florida on the Adult.Com yacht party
They're a good host, lots of big companies choose them.

LOTS of people use Candid, I have 4 servers there myself and have found them very good. There tech support is often answered within 12-24 for small jobs and 24-48 hours for bigger problems. There server and bandwidth speed is 2nd to none. And there pretty cheap as far as REAL Top quality bandwidth goes.

webair,
My tech info is "way off base"?
Every last one of the views on oregon-ix ends with 3549 18695.
3549 = GBLX, 18695 = Band-X
Band-X is a cheap reseller, and GBLX is yet another chapter 11 tier 1. And if you're going to go and say "well they are great!", why is that? They have one of the most restrictive peering policies out there, and in fact, peer with many other tier 1's in europe only!
Also, what happens when GBLX goes down for maintenance or other reasons?
I'm tired of hearing this "100% verio!" or "100% Global Crossings!" crap, you should be multihomed, I would never even think of hosting with anyone who isn't multihomed.

I already apologized for my earlier post, as it was inappropriate. But, why do you find it necessary to try and bury this thread in misinformation?
I can take the same approach as you are and bury you with the right facts and info, but I'm not. I won't walk into your pissing match.
I know the truth, my customers know the truth and that's all that counts. Nothing you can conjure up here is going to effect us. Stop wasting your time.Last edited by webair; 12-13-2002, 08:20 PM.
