what script makes these nice thumbs?

It's just Smartthumbs with the right Imagemagik filter settings.. pre-scanned and handcropped.. no big deal..

THINK before you write!
there is NO WAY you can make thumbs look the same (speaking of colors) with imagemagick making a batch job because the pics are shooted in different conditions so they need need different levels correction , different sharpening, saturation, brushes if needed etc. etc. .
