    avs question

Heya, when signing up AVS sites, some systems have a "exclusive" and "non-exclusive" option. I want to use the same site(contant/layout) with a few different AVS systems- but on totaly different pages/folders. I'll basicaly have a new site(new folder) for each AVS system. Would this still be considered exclusive? Is non exclusive only if you have different AVS systems on the same PAGE.

Any help would be great, basicaly, is it considered exclusive if i have different AVS systems on the same layout/content but not on the same pages(folder)

It just depends on the system. Most AVSs only consider a site excsluve if their members are the only ones that can access a site with that particular layout and content. I have seen some however that consider it exclusive as long as they're the only AVS script on the particular page you send their members to.

So basically, just check with the AVS you want to use.

      mGreg--

Funny you ask this question, it was one of the first I asked when I started AVS.

Basically, it varies between systems, on what they consider to be exclusive.

In practice, exclusive is considered a seperate door-way to the members area of your AVS site.

      so,
      sex-key-index.html sex-key-join.html
      sitepass-index.html sitepass-join.html
      etc...

and a common members area should do the trick.

Just don't try to promote each mirror with the same link lists.

        Thankyou very much

Just don't try to promote each mirror with the same link lists.
Do you mean don't submit the same site(just different doorways) to the linklists? Whatabout submitting different free sites promoting only 1 avs doorway at a time(per day for example)?

yeah. Do not submit the doorways from the same site to the same link lists.

Yes you could do that but

          ...
Most of the big ones only allow 1 per day max.
(600-2k a day in traffic to your free site)
So, it is better to submit free sites to most link lists like green guy, tommys etc.. you'll get more traffic to a free site. But, play around with "free" avs systems and you might do well to, depending on the content you have.

Just have one "free" doorway that leads to your members area and don't use .htaccess

okay thanks again, so, what i was planning to do was..

            make 5 free sites.
make 1 avs site with 5 different doorways.

each day, make a new free site promoting a different doorway. Submit this free site to the link lists. After 5 days were up, i would make another avs site and 5 more free sites to promote each doorway again. It should still be ok to call the avs site exclusive?
