    Host for ASP?

Anyone knows of a good host with NT servers that will include SQLServer? Also, I'd be interested in a low bandwidth cost.

I'm sure you have a good reason, but why not PHP and MySQL/PostgresSQL? PHP/Apache is a hell of a lot better than ASP/IIS, and MySQL is fairly competitive with SQL 7 for smaller scale things.

I'm not speaking out of a unix bias here, my first web projects were in ASP/SQL and I really much prefer PHP/MySQL.

    Cheers,

I have no knowledge of PHP yet, but what I do have is a site designed entirely in ASP and I ain't learning a new scripting language just so I have it hosted on a UNIX server. Thanks for the input though.

You should really check out our site.

I know this is kinda spammy, and I sincerely appologize for that. But really, it's the best way to look for a porno hosting company. You can do a search that specifies you want support for sqlserver, and compare prices and all that.

          it's http://www.hosts4porn.com

Liam, I get the results fine, only when I go to the sign-up page of some hosts, the details are different. Shouldn't you check if a host actually offers unlimited bandwidth usage before saying on your page that they do?

I have NO IDEA whatsoever how much bandwidth I'm gonna be needing, so buying a set amount is out of the question... Hit me up on ICQ and we can negociate some more. Gotta do the research.

Just put some thought in it and you'll come up with a good guess. There are only three figures to play with: the number of visitors, the size of the files (html+graphics), and the percentage of files accessed.

A lot of stuff can be calculated surprisingly exactly just by doing some reasonable assumptions. No need for rocket science!

Actually, I am well aware of that fact. The only thing I am NOT aware of is the number of visitors, since I'm just starting out here... Thus the dilemma.
