Link Popularity

OK I am on my lunch break and while at work i was thinking that i just got auto gallery pro and it is up and running.. now with the submissions of the galleries on my page with recip links link popularity will increase when i am spidered again by the se's.... now how much will link popularity help me in the rankings of the se's... will i see more traffic because of this??? Can anybody give me some info on this.... i will be off in 4 hours and will be back to check out this post see ya later fellas :-)

It's good to have a lot of text links from the galleries back to your tgp, preferably with keywords in the link text, but it may take several months untill google finds all these galleries (Probably google likes finding sites better than getting them submitted).

Even better than that is having links back from galleries which are linked from other tgp's, because then the galleries themselves have link popularity, too, and that is good for their own weight in the search engines, and their links (to you) are worth more.

Links from yahoo and dmoz, news sites and other major sites count more than links from unknown sites, at least for google.

Internal links (within your site) count - surprisingly - too. Same goes for outgoing links.

Always have the keywords in the link text: "Hardcore Sex Pictures" instead of "Click here".
