Some Google Tricks (Learn Something inside)

I was just chatting with someone and pointed out to them a few google tricks I use. I learned them over a year ago after reading about them in Mac World magazine. Google can be very useful.

You may or may not know about this.

Examples:

1. Word definitions. For this example I want to know the definition of the word "lecherous". I type this directly into google:

define: lecherous

Then press enter. Nice, eh?


2. Currency exchange. Type the following into google:

25 usd in euros

(Press enter). Again, nice!


3. Conversions. Type the following into google:

37 miles in kilometers

(Press enter).


4. Math problems. Type the following into google:

60000000*75/23=

(press enter)



There are plenty of others. These are 4 features I use ALL the time. Google bar comes in handy several times a day. Enjoy.

The stock quote is a helpfull feature as well.
Just type in the symbol and hit enter.

you can also type in a telephone number and it will tell you whose number it is if it is a listed number.

I forgot that those shortcuts were there. There was one that if you put in a phone number, it would give you the address and name. I just can't remember it. Maybe some else does?
