Custom Video Content

Hi,

I've been on GFY before asking where on the web I can purchase good video content.. The results were somewhat not to my linking.

Now i've decided to go for the custom shots. Looking for photographers that can do digital MPEG videos, exclusive to us. Not shared content. Models ages 18-21.

hey m0rph3us, that's gonna be very hard to find... it can be done, but for a lot of $$$
Content providers rely on being able to sell that same product at least a few times to make up their cost of production alone.
Not to metion some profit of course.

I should be in operation with my new content site at the end of august. I may be willing to do a deal with you on limited distribution but nothing exclusive, it would just cost you to much to cover my cost. At least for material that was worth a shit.

Hmm... i've asked around and the lowest I've found was $200-$300 for 1 hour of video.. model included in price. Excluvie. Higher end was $600 for 1 hour.

You could get an ugly stripper to dance around for an hour on camera for a couple hundred $$$ lol... why not make your own.

Try getting a decent to high quality model to do anything else besides a stripshow then your talking $$$.

I can't see anyone selling exlusive rights to a video for only $600, it just does not make good business sense. Unless they can't sell that content to anyone else.

I'm thinking the same thing. Any halfway decent model is going to ask $500 or $600 for her time/performance alone. Guys may be cheaper if you want them in the picture too, but may still cost another $100 or so (the girl may want more too but the cool chicks will ask for less ). This still doesn't include any travel expenses, time for the the videographers/editors or any other hidden costs.

You may be lucky and find people willing to work for cheap or even free close by, but I would think these finds are going to be somewhat rare and nobody can give their time for free on a sustained basis.

So, yes, exclusive rights even for $600 is going to be hard to come by unless the quality is a hard sell elsewhere.

Morpheus and I have ICQ'ed about this, but for the edification of all. Video content costs a lot more than stills, generally speaking. Let's see why. 1) The models want more for it because it's more work. It requires more concentration because, unlike with stills, they are always "on." I pay my models twice as much to do a masturbation video than I pay them to pose for stills. We're not even talking about hardcore. 2) It's more profitable in the long run for the producer to sell the video on his own. This is true with stills, too, of course, but even moreso with video content. You can sell a good video to a company that puts out amateur vids and make pretty good money that way, too.

What you're always up against is that the producer has many roads to profit. You won't get his work unless you appear to be the most profitable one.

Dude, that place is a living gold mine. I went there a couple of years ago and the girls are super HOT and very very cheap. Problem is the guys there are wankers and if you'd use them the video would be shit. There are no adult agencies there and let alone photographers. Now it someone would fly there and tape the girls.. =) And then i'd buy the content... =)
