There's a reason why Dreamhost is so cheap. It's because they'll fuck you over.

If you were going to open a store, you wouldn't rent out a place with no heating, busted windows and flaky paint in the ghetto just to save a few bucks. Don't do the same thing with your hosting.

If your host goes down, your business goes down. Don't cheap out on hosting.

Very good for mainstream. Very good also if you just run adult blogs...they don't allow tgp pages (hosted picture/video galleries). Other than that they have a killer deal for all of their hosting packages. If you need to go virtual...go lunarpages for sure. But of course if you get a dedi with them you can do what you want.

dreamhost is shit i bought 1.6TB plan, and he put offline my pure html domain in the my first Hun listing (first on the dreamhost). No warning message, no warning email, he put me simply offline. If he give me 2 hours i may move my domain to the my main host.

This guys suck, and his "plan" is one big lie.

Hosts like Dreamhost grossly oversell their bandwith. They hope you won't use all the bandwith they give you. If you go anywhere close to using that bandwith, they close your account for "using too many server resources".

Hosting companies pay about $0.20 per GB for the bandwith. Why would they give you 1000 GB for only $7 a month when it costs them $200 for the bandwith?
