    USB Flash Drive Reliability?

I use flash drives for everything now. Have one for Stats Remote, email, financial docs, etc... They're all password protected, and when I leave the office they come with me or go in the safe. Perfect for keeping information safe and mobile. But... I'm worried about reliability. I'm using the Memorex 1Gbs which are pretty inexpensive now.
Anyone ever have problems with them? Lost data or device failure?

I haven't used that brand but if your worried just buy a more expensive one and back up onto that one instead.

its a great help... i remembered the days when we were using floppy disc as storage with just 1.4mb capacity.. and now you could bring 1GB in your pocket with a small flash drive.. amazing isnt it??

they corrupt very easily especially if you just yank them out instead of using the windows app to remove them from your computer. I would backup the usb drive to hd with every use
