I can remember when they originally came out with those back in the 1970's. Then for no stated reason, they stopped production, and you couldn't get them for almost 25-years. I don't want to start getting them again, in case they pull production for the second time.

Yep! I remember Bugles and Funyun's came out around the same time, it must have been around the early 70's because both me and my Dad were into them as a snack of choice for camping/fishing trips. My Dad died in 1976. Two snack foods that have made a comeback after a quarter of a century.

They may still both be nutritionally worthless, but they still taste good.

Same here. Me and my Dad from the early to late 70s. Sorry to hear that yours has passed.

Of the many food stuffs that I could always count on, Bugles (and sometimes Funyuns) were always on the fishing trips.
