Breached Contract Help...

Heya,

My cousin decided about 3 months ago to try his hand in
the adult biz...I told him to take it slow but he decided to
jump in and leased a dedicated server for 1500.00 a month
on a 1 year commitment. I about shit when he told me because
he is paying 250.00 per Mb! Anyway, now he is in the hole and
can't pay his bills but he is under a one year contract.
He is worried that if he stops paying the provider they will
sue him for the remaining 9 months, which would be alot of
money to him. The provider is in CA and he is in GA, what do
you think the odds are that the provider will actually sue
him for the remaining balence, which would be around
15K. At this point he doesn't care if his credit report gets hammered, he just wants out...He isn't a rich guy so even
if they did sue him, I don't know how they could get the money
I guess they could take his home or cars?....What a mess...
Any advice appreciated....I told him to consult with a lawyer but
he says he doesn't have the money...Jeez..

OK...Additional info..
I just got off the phone with my cousin. The contract was for 12 months. Even if he does something against the Terms (like spam) he is still liable for the remaining months. From what he tells me, there is no way out of the contract. If he cancels his server or stops paying, he is liable for the remaining balance immediately. He called the provider and they told him he would have to cancel in writing and pay the remaining balance, about 15K immediately...So how fucked is he?
I told him they can't get blood out of a turnip, but i'm no lawyer..
