    wordpress templates question

    is there a resource for templates that i can (legally) completely strip of any identifying info? i dont want anything in the footer, etc. comments in the html/css are fine, just nothing shown to the surfer.

    The license varies from designer to designer and unfortunately I don't think there's a compiled list of who doesn't care about keeping the links in the footer. I'll keep an eye out for something like that for you, though.

          I use GPL ones and take that crap in the footer out. Thanks to the GPL I am able to do so.

            Yes you can strip everything somewhere is that legal but somewhere not depend on script author.
