    Using a USB cord my cable modem works fine I need to use an ethernet cord to hook up my router though and nothing will work with a ethernet core is there a driver I need or something?

        It could be a number of different things from a BIOS set up, bad cord, missing driver, etc etc.

        You would need to provide more detailed information to narrow it down.

          I believe its the driver, but where do I get the driver? cord worked fine a week ago then I reformatted the PC and it doesn't work
