Link Relevancy..Does it matter

I'm interested in hearing other webmasters opinions about link relevancy and how search engines treat keywords in links and domain names. Does it matter if keywords are imbedded in search terms or domain names?

link relevancy matters. especially in anchor text. having a keyword for the domain name always helps as some webmasters only link to the domain name for anchor text.

it's also important that you try and get as many related sites to link to you as well.

of course it matters, and if you get any traffic from those inbound links, they'll be similarly themed so you could get targetted traffic from it as well
