Last Months Stats: It cost me $25 day x 30 days = $750

I made 8 sign ups directly from the campaign. = $280


My benefit = Advertising Expense for taxes.

I have used it many times and the results vary. My bigger ticket items (ie $499.00 turnkey sites) do well but selling memberships is hard.

Some of my clients have had marginal success with it but not enough profit to get excited about.

Google surefers are looking for free stuff and info.

Search on "erotic stories" for instance in overture and you'll find 42 paid lisings. Try Google and you'll find zero.

With AdWords you must also maintain a certian click-thru-rate or they remove your listing. So few people click on the AdWords links that it's difficult to even stay listed.

For PPC results with half decent traffic try overture, Search123, and Turbofind.com (which my company runs).

Yes thats what i was worried about thanks for your advise everyone i'll have to think about it if i was going to do it i think i would have an exit console with another sponsor as backup

They won't allow popups or consoles and yes do they do check, been there done that ...

I think it's probably better for things like adult toy stores rather than memberships.. thats my guess anyways - It wasn't worth the effort when I did it..

i typically make 150% on ppc listings. google is ok, but it can be a pain in the ass. once you get the hang of things, keeping that min ctr is a breeze. only shitty thing is you can't do it if you put in the price

i use google adwords for mainstream only.

Adwords is great for testing out new adult site concepts
because you are assured of a certain consistent quality traffic
that is hard to gain anywhere else.

For generating profit.. i dont think adwords / paysite are
a good combi.
