Do you think having a flash header interferes with google spidering your site?

flash is bad for seo..period.

don't see a reason why would flash file interfere with a crawler as crawler only picks up text source code, html formatted, etc., after that point it's qued in to be indexed, whatever crawler cannot process is ignored.

when I have a flash menu I make sure to use a second menu (html links) at the bottom of the page.

put it this way . . . we have a #1 listing on Google for one of our sites that someone else should have. They don't have it because their front page is Flash.

Google's newest algo can read flash content as well. I don't recommend using flash on sites made for SEs, though.

i wouldnt use flash just for seo purposes which is a shame because some flash sites can be really good. But you have to keep the search engines happy...
