Where Should I Put My Second Server?

Well, now that I read about that Google is ignoring sites that link to eachother on the same C block (which means that all of my efforts to increase my page rank have amounted to me jerking myself off), I need to put another server online.

So the question is, should I get another server in the United States or should I put an offshore box up. My current box is in Kansas City and I have looked at putting something on one of the coasts and I have also looked at the Netherlands, which seems to have some pretty decent deals on colo.

Where is the best place to put a box these days? Hosts, dont spam me here, I am talking about which country and which city or general area, not which data center.

I'll find the datacenter later, in another thread.

If I'm going to spend money on it, I may as well put it to use and THAT means not putting a piece of shit online.

For obvious law-related reasons it may be worth spreading the risk in other jurisdictions - poss Canada, Netherlands, Panama, Czech Republic.... It was never an obligation to host in the most unfriendly environment in the western world for adult biz.

I'd spread risk and go off shore. NL seems a safe place.. For one I don't think the US government would be able to just shut the site down quick. Nothatsfuckedup was up for weeks while litigation went on. In Kansas City it would be another story. Guess all that pails compared to sitting in jail though.

Baddog seems to have the edge on SEO efforts. So if that's your game, he's the place.

Since you didnt ask for a retraction of the alleged libel, you'll only be able to sue for actual damages, which you'll have to actually prove. Make sure you know the law before you go and spout off.
