    OpenDirViewer

Hi, does anyone have a simple solution to protecting images from being seen for free by visitors to opendirviewer.com ?

Many thanks for all your help with this.

      Thanks

Thanks for the advice. I'll need to wait for my programming guy to tell me what to change the htaccess to, but at least I know how it's done now.

      Thanks again for your help.

            Thanks Again!

Great - I used the generator at htaccesstools.com to block hotlinking and got it to work, so anyone using OpenDirViewer can't see the images.

However, it gives the URL of the folder where all of the images are stored, and so it's still pretty simple for anyone to go to the folder and click on them all individually.

Is there a quick way that I can stop people going directly to the following folder?

            escorts-latvia.com/images/girls/

I tried adding "deny ..." to the htaccess, but couldn't get that to work.

Many thanks again for all your help with this.

To stop directory or folder view, add this to your htaccess as well

              Options -Indexes

Just put an index.html file in the folder with an ad on it.
