With PayPal, the customer can use a PP account, or just about any CC they have.

Pay Pal is a good processor, maybe not to only use them but good to use as an option.

It's advisable to have as little money as possible in any PayPal account at any time. Their rules suck.

Use someone else for the processing and have PayPal as a final option. You'll never make any sales by using just them anyway.

I know several people that had a complaint with PayPal and they froze the money in their accounts for over 100 days!!!

              Nazgul,

If you would like us to get on the phone and explain the differences to your friend and show him our system at the same time, we would be happy to. There are major differences.

Let me know if we can assist. We will make your friand very, very happy.

              Thank you, Mitch Farber

the problem with paypal is ppl can refuse payment easier by lieing and making some excuse about not receiving what they paid for.

We use our own merchant account and Paypal. Paypal is a small percentage of our business. It does work well in two areas, people who have money in their Paypal accounts and E-checks.

We tried other methods of accepting online checks and the NSF rate was ridiculous, we almost never have any type of charge back with Paypal.

You will get hit with a $1,500 high risk fee from Paypal if the product is "adult" ie: High Risk

We use PayPal but only for products as I don't feel like paying their $1500 "high risk fee".

By offering free shipping with PayPal (but not Ibill) we can coax about 50% or more of the sales through PayPal, but you must have another processor for the people who refuse to sign up with PayPal.

Overall I would say they are great. Under 3% discount fee, no reserve, daily payout. Their shopping cart system is much better than IBill's, and less buggy.

My PP ac got restricted again...I called them and they said there was unauthorized use in my account from June that was still being investigated..

I told him I never reported any such thing, but he said I did..

Emailed me a form that had to be signed by a "notary public", but since I'm in Canada there are none and I asked him what the Canadian equivalent was...

He blatantly told me he had no clue....how the fuck am I supposed to know if a fuckin CSR working at PP doesn't know...

If you get chargebacks...it's gona be a bitch...they can restrict yoru account and you won't be able to withdraw/receive money.
