I don't have this problem with any of the other biggest sites. They need to hire a better team and more servers.

alot of it has to do with the coding written on that site. also the fact that they are hosted (at last check) on Microsofts servers.

also, MySpace keeps getting hacked. it's becoming a daily occurence now.

I think they never expected the kind of growth they've had over the past few years, so initially they had a poor setup which was not ideal for expansion. Now, they are probably not able to optimize their site and databases the way they should be, without extensive downtime.
