    GIF Optimization question

I have tried using GIF as headers because it supports transparency, but it's 256 color limitation makes it very hard to use pictures of girls. I find that they end up looking pretty bad actually. But I've seen some great graphics done out there where there were faces of some models and it looked fairly good quality, looked like low quality jpegs.

Is there a good GIF optimizing tutorial out there somewhere that you guys would recommend?

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
