...This isn't about people actually WANTING to see the tour, shockingly enough. Did it ever pass your minds that this may just annoy a fair few people? You must have done at least some risk analysis...

Yes. It's a good ad, although with a misspell or two. And when it first loaded up, it tookk a few minutes to grab the urls for gofuckyourself.com, and gfyboard.com which annoyed some people including me. And with IE now, you have to click to activate flash, THEN click the continue link.

But the exposure is valuable, yes The site is what's important, not the ad honestly. GFY has a good reach though, so it's an important ad spot irregardless.

All I know about it is what any normal board reader/poster knows, woj.
Gfy is big. Ads on Gfy get big exposure.
The rest is just my own observation.

In general I don't follow the any publicity is good publicity idea. If you are well known then ok anything helps and you hope that the good outweighs the bad, but if the only association people have with your name/company is negative and annoying then that can't be a good thing.
