what is the best free ticket support system out there?

Cerberus Helpdesk has a free mode, that works with only 1 email address.

I've to second that. It's quite a bit of work to get it up and running and learn how to properly use it, but once you and your employees are used to it, it's a great tool.

Works for 2-3 users as well as for companies with hundreds of people using it simultaneously.

use the search function here there was a great one that somone posted once. It has one set up that you can try out, before downloading. If you find it, or anygood one that will work with at least 15 people, let me know. I need one as well, but have not had the time to find one.

i did a search before i posted but couldn't find anything.
so far the php is the simpliest one to setup and use.
i will demo the others as suggested and see what will work best both for short and long term based on what we're gonna use and need it for..the need for more features always increases as you go along..
