    Wordpress Question

Out of the blue my comments were turned off - that is whenever ayone tries to make a comment on a post it says "comments are closed" - I have not changed anything in my admin panel, I have the following settings for comments:

(all are turned off - that is not selected)

An administrator must approve the comment (regardless of any matches below)
Comment author must fill out name and e-mail
Comment author must have a previously approved comment

But still I cant get the comments turned on again.

    Any suggestions?

BTW this board should set up a blogs section, I know it's been mentioned before but maybe now is the time.

Check every post if it has "Allow Comments" selected.

Thanks Ice Master - thats exactly what it was - is there a way to have this box permanently clicked, or does it have to be done for each past and future post?

For the past posts you will have to go back and check them individually I believe. For future posts lokk for and check 'Allow people to post comments on the article' in Options > Discussion

I guess you could also go into the MySQL and change the past posts that way if you are handy with queries.

Yes, I guess that you must have "Allow people to post comments on the article" activated (Options - Discussion).
