I've got one you can load into your computer if you want...a virus will only strengthen your computer. A computer is much like a human body...it must learn to adapt to a virus to become stronger.

My partner, no shitting you here gets about 100 a day of these exact same viruses.

Does anyone know what the hell is going on with this? Why is he getting 100+ a day?

So far, I've gotten about five hundred of these emails. Today, I've received two or three every ten minutes. It's been very annoying, to say the least.
If you don't open the attachment, you should be all right. I don't remember where I read this, but the other nasty thing about this virus is it has a component that is set to detonate on October 16. There are lots of articles and I do believe Puffin has posted sites to go and read about this.
I have my email set to delete all attachments. No email program is safe from this thing. And, no matter what anti virus program you've got, make sure you update it.

I've been getting them. I'm looking for some way to filter 'em out. I'm referring to the pesky "I want your opinion" (and variations on same) virus e-mail.

I have not received ANY from dealing in online porn, and I get 150+ emails a day !!

On the other hand, my wife does importing women's fashions, and gets MAYBE 10 emails on a busy day, and she has gotten maybe 30 virus attachments in the past 2 weeks ....

GO FIGURE !?!

The virus sends itself to e-mail addresses found in people's browser cache. So if you page is in their cache when they get infected, and your e-mail address is on your site, you'll get the e-mail. That is probably the reason why I got about 150 of 'em every hour...

I don't think the people who are infected even know it yet. Perhaps it'd be a good idea for some of the larger traffic pages to make a small announcment (hint hint Hun etc. ).

I think it runs as "Scam32.exe" but I'm not positive. A more definitive test would be to look in the registry for this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\
RunServices\Driver32=?C:\Windows\System\Scam32.exe ?
