Screw it i'll just post the problem, see if anyone has input.

I need some the page requests to a server to go to a specified page instead of the requested page at a ratio of 1 in 100. in otherwords 1 in every 100 times the serfer will go to a static page kept eslewhere on the server instead of the page that was requested.

I started with an .htaccess file statment that directs all page requests to a directory or it's subs to anywhere I want. But instead of all the time, I want it to act on a ratio, not just redirect all page requests. get it?

The idea is that I am allowing a decently trafficked sites host on my server with the exception that 1% of their traffic goes to my ad page. Should be able to be done in an htaccess, but I just can't fugure it out, it's driving me crazy.

Like a traffic skimmer. (But I would never implement somthing like that unless the person agreed to it).
