Is it true that Opera is the fastest web browser?

Some of my friends have tried it and they say it works very fast, and that you can see a big difference betwen IE and Opera.

If any of you use it .. tel me about it!

some of my partners use it and will never go back to ie. i still stick to ie to to some addons i like. opera is cool, though and you should give it a try. kill popups.

I don't find it to be any faster than anything else... but it's hard to gauge on a high speed connection since everything is pretty damn fast already....

I find opera is great EXCEPT if you hot some error or a page that is semi fucked... YOU CRASH completely ..

I used it for awhile .. and GFY was hell, cant handle crtain shit all too well I guess

Opera is great except when I am browsing through a directory of images really fast (ie, clicking a pic and going back to the directory, and repeat) for it crashes a lot when I do that.
