That's like saying all a car mechanic needs is one screwdriver. Nice try here, but no cigar for you this time.

I said that I use homesite because it allows for editting via FTP and other time saving features.
But to do programming, a serious programmer only really NEEDS notepad.

If all you ever had was notepad and suddenly you were incapable of doing any programming at all... you're not that serious about programming.

Obviously, no one is actually reading what I said, just taking a small piece and making an assumption as to what I meant.

But hey, if you all think I do my programming with just notepad, more power to ya. Luckily the folks at GTS knew better when they hired me to do their programming.

Don't get upset mate, I just disagreed with the statement that all a serious programmer should really need is notepad. I've used notepad before I discovered improved programs which highlight syntax and even though I'm pretty skilled at programming and coding things together, I still get the job done alot faster with one of these improved programs.

I think you posted something that was a result of a chain of thoughts. It just came out a bit firm and triggered some reactions that might not have gotten the complete picture from your post.

It seems to happen a lot lately. People read a piece of what I said and then make an assumption as to what I may have meant.
I'd rather people just read things and taken them at face value rather than make guesses as to what it could mean and then go on the attack based on the assumption, rather than the actual statement.

Unfortunately... from written text, it's difficult to really understand what somebody means unless you know the person well. My comment wasn't an attack to you.. enjoy your sunday.

                        Topstyle.

Saying "I use strictly Notepad" is awesome and you are l33t. But when I'm 200 lines deep in CSS it's a different story.

                        Fuck tables.

Ok, lets fucking do that shall we Jackass? Here we go:

                              Pretty straightforward statement.

Guessing this is how you do your "Handcoding"

Uh, no you didn't, and now this is where it gets scary because what you said is easily available for you to verify. But, yet you still keep yapping away calling other people retarded cuz they can't read... Have a problem with short term memory maybe?

I could keep going if you want, but i think you get the idea of how fucking stupid you really are. Learn to read what YOU WRITE before you start jumping on people who actually have read what you wrote.
