I think most webmasters use higher resolutions but I still make our sites best viewed in 800x600 till surfers leave that way behind too

Why are you asking webmasters what resolution they have their screens at?? Do some research into what percentage of surfers are still using 800x600 as that's more appropriate.

As a WM, I multitask so none of my windows are full screen. I have my main browsing browsers set at about 900 wide and the others at 800 wide to check designs. I have the resolution on this computer at 1280x1024, the laptop is at 1280x800.

3200x1200 on my dual monitors I used to run 4096x 1536, but it gives me issues when I have to do a print screen for photoshop stuff, so I had to put it back to 3200x1200. I run 1600x1200 native on my laptop. Oh the dual monitors are dual 21"ers.
