I'm posting this message on a few forums to get wider range of feedback.

I'm not sure if this has been done yet, if it has I haven't see it.

I have a small adult search engine with 10,000 links in it, www.adultindex.net . What I am looking at doing is giving webmasters control to add their banner on the website with a simple code.

For example; http://www.adultindex.net/category.p..._id=85&revid=1

The revid=1 pulls the banner under the webmaster #1.
When a webmaster sends traffic with his/her link and that user clicks on links it counts towards the webmaster, once an amount is reached they can add a text link (on the right) for 1 category of their choice.

These are just example, nothing official yet.
1 link click = 1 point
1 adclick = 2 point
1 link submit = 5 points

Once you reach *say* 1000 points you can add your text link to a category that will give you a total of 50 clicks to whatever url you wish.

Thoughts/suggestions?

It's not a bad idea, but I think your numbers are bogus.

Let's say that your site has pretty good quality traffic. At a minimum, I would need to get 1,000 hits back from you in order to make it worth my time. I have to rack up 1,000 points to get 50 visits, so I need to rack up 20,000 to get 1,000 visits. That means I have to get people to click on 20,000 of your links or get 4,000 people to submit links to you or some combination thereof. That's a whole lot of work for 1,000 hits back and really not much incentive for me to send you traffic/webmasters.

i don't want to horn in on your idea but i think a catchy name for your thingy might really give it a boost.

something like ....oh......... let's see now.......... a toplist? what do you think? kinda catchy ain't it?

Spaceace, as I said "These are just example, nothing official yet. ". Can I give you another thought.

I have a tgp and I find that most visits they click on 30 to 200 galleries. Lets take a nice figure like 30 and work on it.

100 visits x 30 clicks each is 3000 clicks. With the figures quoted in my original post you would get 150 clicks in return that is TARGETED to a special category of your choice. That's not a link it's an ad on the right side. Plus you would still have your banner/text banner at the top and bottom of the pages.

I understand what your talking about thought and I will work on a better solution before I do more with it.
