I partially agree to what you said, but the PPS system is just asking for
fraud and corruption. Do you think its possible to pay, $40 , $50, $60 per join ? Nope.. not without something on the backend.

Here is a interesting one, recently TB had a huge per signup day. Bigger
then normal. With my own sales to them, I send 8-12 joins per day, every day.. on that day, I sent 2... hmmmm, something is fishy

Now, if we throw out Xpics and the per click payouts.. now that was sweet, I made like 300-400 everyday in 1998

Agreed, greed has ruined it.. but upping the PPS payouts does nothing more then turn honest companies into dishonest companies.

Rand from Epoch and I sat down about 3 years ago and chatted about the PPS model and the Revshare model.. he hated the way the industry has involved into this huge mega PPS model.

I use to offer PPS, I could not keep up with the fraud, sales and the constant database problems from the increase in sales and traffic. We got behind on payouts and it took forever to get out of that slump. An easy solution would be to shave the shit.. using MPA2, but we didn't do that.

Anyways.. all is well now!

Lets say payouts did decrease a little bit and in return sponsors disabled all shady tactics with cross-sells, prechecked boxes, and ransomware. Trust would eventually build up from consumers and overall conversion rates will get much better. I will take $20 instead of $40 if it means I convert 1:200 instead of 1:500.

was it really? pps wasn't really popular till around 2000-2001. before that we were getting paid on a slide scale and revshare mostly. when PPS started getting popular i made good money on that too but noticed the higher the payouts got the shittier the ratios got.

The only flaw in this is that ALL sponsors would have to agree....
once you drop payouts....affiliates dump you...and someone will boast bigger payouts to get those affiliates...
