    PPS vs. Revshare

I have no preference really, I just see all the threads about it all the time.
My personal stats, sucky I know, but here it goes. Based on ~400k paysite hits spread across many many many sponsors. So some sponsors might be way better and some $0 than mentioned below.

    Revshare average, 0,0168$/1st page unique
PPS average, 0,0174$/1st page hits (.. dunno if they're really 1st page though)

Just figured I'd let you know. This is mixed traffic, from tgp's, 404, freesites, whatever.
    ..and I'm off.

Interesting stats. How long was the timeframe?
I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

    Webair, bitches.

      Not saying.
..but the stats are all from 2006 though.

I have never promoted a revshare program with trials that paid out at least $30 per sale. The only one that has come close is Naughty America, but I'm lucky if any of my revshare+trial sponsors hit $20 per member...

Up until 2004 just about every revshare program I promoted paid out more than $35 per join (averaged). Now it's only a few that can still do that.

Me neither. It just doesn't make sense. Actually, a most of the non trial revshare programs I have picked over the years convert just as well as any PPS site with trials.

I promoted one site recently that did 1:181 on TGP traffic on $29.95 joins. Trials are overrated.

You'd be crazy if you did.

Then how can you compare? Most PPS programs pay out on trials (yes there are lots of good programs that pay $30 on a $29.95 join as well, but they are the minority)... Unfair to compare IMO, you are getting the surfer to pay $1-5 instead of $30 up front.

What do you mean how do I compare?

I just did, how much money I'm making per unique visitor sent. The price has nothing to do with it.
