    overdoing multiple site access

Do you guys think that companies are overdoing multiple site access?

Whatever happend to the good old days when if you had a site you would try to upsell the other one inside instead of giving free access to it. Seems PeferctGozno is the only trying to upsell their other sites these days.

Now when a surfer joins a site can't sell him any of the other sites easily because he has already seem them when he joined the first site.

I think exactly the same but then again, they *should* know better than me.

I have just common sense and no experience with running a program / paysites, while they have years of experience and some data to rely on...

well, unless they dont really think about such things, and they just copy the "multiple site access" idea from other programs, just like they copy the TOS.
      I don't use ICQ anymore.

that's a good thread, overall I would expect that member retention increases with multiple sites, since it's more content a member gets
