If they weren't worth what I charge, why do I have clients who come back for more?
Could it be because they are happy and understand that I know what makes a site convert?? If I supply a site to a client, and it doesn't convert to their expectations, I will take the site back and rework it until it converts. Plain and simple.

Sharky, dear friend... as you know, some people and companies prefer to work with certain individuals they know a long time ago although they might sacrifice quality/performance/money. I think this is your case and good for you... but on the long run, if you dont improve your designs or your prices, you will be out of clients, plain and simple... its called evolution baby.

Im just stating here that there are a lot better designers than you for lowest prices. Its their problem if your clients wants to stay with you or not.

Sure friendship helps, but it comes down to the client making $$. If our designs work for them -- They will stay. If not -- They will leave.

He can ask whatever he wants, if people are willing to pay it, and everyone's happy, then what's the problem?

There are cheaper designers out there (I'm one of them ) but it's totally up to the designers at what rate they offer their services. Just my
