The City function is pretty useless looking at it closely. It seems that it's not exactly accurate for the UK hence the reason Brentwood keeps showing up - it's the main hub for one of the major UK ISP's i.e. no matter the location in the UK people on that ISP go through Brentwood before moving out into the wider web.
