can someone plz expalain how ppl using templates. i know what it is but i dont know how to use it?

like some guy said he makes 10 avs sites less than 30mins using templates. i would love to know what program you can make templates with? note im not talking about reusing a layout you have. im talking about using the same design but having some variables and mass generating pages

Its not about how <i> MANY </i> AVS sites you have, its what you do with the ones you <i> DO </i> have.

I've tried to point you in the right direction a couple times... there are several programs that can do this. Thumbs Plus, Arles, etc.... but no one is going to sit here and teach you how to operate these programs. You're going to have to choose one, sit down, and learn it. Make yourself a couple dozen different layout templates in Arles and save them to your drive somewhere. I really don't know what else I can tell ya. Other than that, you could hire someone to do this for you if you don't have the time or want to learn the programs.

there's also an AVS site generator program that works very well for this, but I can't remember what it's called... but it also runs about $1500 last I checked.

You can design templates for use with programs to help you generate your sites or you can just design templates and go back later and fill in the details (site name, pictures, etc) by hand.

What Fletch says is true. Making tons of sites from templates (or any other way) isn't going to make you the $$. What AVS site generating programs are good for is cutting down the amount of time it takes you to make the sites so you can concentrate on marketing. Still, making a lot of sites can be part of a successful marketing strategy by intelligent use of cross-promotion, linking and upsells from one site to another.

If you want something simple that will just insert pictures into premade templates, check out Thumbnailer at http://www.smalleranimals.com it's great for basic gallery generation and costs around $30. If you want something with more flexibility and the power to make entire sites, check out the program in my signature; it does exactly what you were asking about (dynamic generation by changing variables).
