Question about Microsoft Excel. Please help!

hi there!
I'm trying to work on a big Excel file, and I have to keep scrolling back up to see what the name of the columns in the first row is. Is there some way to change the default name of the A B C D columns (since those are static and can be seen no matter what row number I'm working on, even if I'm on row 100000)?

i havent used excel in a while, but the "freeze columns" command should work

Highlight the first row with the header names, then click on Window and select "Freeze Panes".

Texas is correct, it the "Freeze panes" not "freeze columns"...
