Batch video compression utility?

for purposes of speed, i chop up a good bit of video with boilsoft's splitting software - but theres no options for compression. I was wondering if anyone knew of a utlity which would let me batch compress large amounts of mpeg videos at once instead of going through each one in either ULead or Premiere and doing it.
