It would be nice to be in a location (like LA) where you can meet with some others and generate some business networking for sure. Then you kinda put a face and personality with an ICQ number, or board persona.

i know of like 10 people (including me) that would definatly go. we should plan one....like at a park where u can swim and cookout or six flags in Ill (right outside of chicago). something fun where you can really get to know everyone. fuck that "lets go have drink" shit. the crowd would be hella small anyways..might as well make it one hell of a day and night.

I know when they were planning the MI webby meeting, there were a ton of people spread all over the state from Detroit, UP, to the SW corner where I am at. Jackson seemed to be the easiest middle ground. I can't recall now who, but someone's brother had a restraunt or something it seemed like.

Oh well. Maybe when you get back something can be worked out.

Yes, I was staying with goodgirl in Indiana, but we drove the 2 hours to Chicago in an attempt to to make it more centralized and hopefully get a few people to join us.

We had a good time with sandman's company, and I think it is safe to say he is glad he ventured out, but we would have liked to have had a bigger turnout.

Cincinnati here - Chicago is about 4.5 hour drive. Be faster diving than getting on a plane. Including all the BS at the airports these days.
