What is the "normal" amount of orders per member. I haven't promoted them much, but I expected more than 3 orders from 75 members.

Yes members that bought time. I got 75 guys( could be some chicks I suppose ) that signed up of that I have 3 total orders. If you want me to be more specific I breifly promoted cams.com on Feb 9 and 10. On the 9th with percentage. Got 32 members. Within 24 I had 2 orders for a total of $3.29Originally posted by DwreckGatorB,
Just so Im clear, when you say order you mean free signups that bought time and a member is a free sign up?
since then ZERO additional orders. On the 10th I swicthed to Per Order. Got 20 more members and within 24 hours got 1 order. Since then zilch. 2 weeks ago decided to try again got 23 more members for Per Order over 3 days. And have not gotten any orders as of yet. I don't seem to have a problem getting them to sign up since that ratio is about 1:8. It's once they sign up getting them to order anything so I can get paid. All I need ot know is the average number of members I have to sign up before I can expect one of them to actually buy anything. And to answer the other dude yes I know my #'s may not be that but I need a ballpark figure. Anyways the traffic I send is good not crap.
Homesexnetwork pays you for every free sign-up you generate. Strangely I only can get 1:250 to sign up with them on the same traffic. Whereas like I as with you it's 1:8. So that's weird too, but a different issue for a different day.Comment

So basically it averages out that every member you have spends at least once or twice a year. Though it could be just a few spending a lot I'm just talking averages. You must have got all the guys with money.Originally posted by TheadNot sure what you want know exactly but for me:

I think you really have to think long term with cams..in my experience percentage is the way to go, you will see those members generate income over a long period of time..most of the guys are going to spend some time browsing..looking for the girl(s) that they are attracted to and want to spend money to watch in private before they buy time, but once they do its usually fairly steady income..very few will do it daily, more like a weekly thing, or until they figure out the girl(s) normal on cam schedule so they can be there around that time too.
Cams.com has alot of models (unlike alot of cam sites) so I think that helps with member renention and increases the chances of long term income. But again I would go the percentage route, I think you'll be happier with the results in the end, you just have to have a lil patience, the income will come in.Comment

as with any program it all depends on how you promote them and the traffic source..
example
FREE GIRLS LIVE ON WEBCAM
as opposed to
WATCH GIRLS STRIP ON WEBCAM
then add on to that your traffic source, lets say i buy hits from google adwords.. if i buy "FREE CAM GIRLS" as opposed to "CAM GIRLS" my ratio of "paying" customers is going to be alot different...hatisblack at yahoo.comComment

You need to give it more time, with cams.com the surfers sign up for free to be able to chat, not to buy credits. It takes time for them to find a girl they like so much that makes them wanna go private with her. Just think that from those 32 members, some of them can spend money 6 months or a year from now.Originally posted by GatorBI breifly promoted cams.com on Feb 9 and 10. On the 9th with percentage. No offense but you have no idea what you are doing with webcams.
First of all of course you get a better free signup ratio on cams.com they don't require a credit card.
Second, 3 people spending money out of 75 isn't too bad actually. You want a ballpark though and there is no ballpark. 1:10 to 1:50,000. Cams are not like paysites, revshare especially. Sure the dude only spent enough to make you $3 which means he spent $15.00? They don't even have a deposit $15 option as far as I know so that guy still has $35 or more sitting in his account while he waits on the perfect moment / model / day to spend it.
Third, you might get 10 people that only buy one time but number 11 might spend $100 a week for 10 years. It's the nature of the beast. It is almost impossible to flip your traffic straight to revshare and make anywhere near what you made with PPS. However, if you quit sending traffic after 1 year you should still be getting sales for years and years after that. Way too many factors in there for anything resembling exact numbers.Comment

Fourth, the last time I check HomeSexNetwork.com was a frontend for Ifriends. This means you're getting paid $25? per signup on the same exact sale that would pay you $40 and up using clickcash.Comment

I get this sort of stats from everyone.
Live web cams (any sponsors) are NOT this hot PERIOD
But when you get a sucker under you OMG the jackass can spend 1000$/s per month. With this said, it never happened to me but i must admit, i just started promoting web cams with little traffic.Comment
